problems with PIA 2.1

Post by xminos »

I am trying to install the new aggregate plugin release in Jan.

After uninstalling the old aggregate version I uploaded the newest version to my plugins folder. I do not see it under plugin management however.

I've had my concerns about my PIA installation as it hasn't scanned since initial installation to be honest I have no idea how to get it to force scan either.

Any idea how to troubleshoot this?

Thanks all.

who supports the PIA? If this is the incorrect location where should I ask for help? Anyone?

It will not show under Plugin Management if it does not have support for v2.X of the PA. Instead you just have to install it the old way by editing your global.php to include it.

Sorry cig, perhaps my post wasn't clear. I was trying to upgrade my aggregate plugin to the latest version. The installation instructions for that plugin state that it's to be installed with the PIA 2.X and above.

I have had installed on this box PIA 2.1 since October with a previous version of aggregate installed (and was seen by PIA).

Per the installation instructions I uninstalled the old verion of aggregate and copied over the new folder. That's when things started getting off path.

I've tried installing this like a normal plugin via the global.php file, it's present and doesn't show up any where. Which leads me to believe that it must be installed via the PIA method..

My problem is it appears my PIA installation is hosed up and I have no idea why or how to troubleshoot it. I currently see one of my 7-8 plugins installed and it hasn't scanned anything since it was originally installed last year.

I hope this clears things up?

Thanks,
-Tim
