Same Graphics for different hosts !

Post by godzibast »

Hello i'm new with Cacti and i'm experiencing some problems with several graphs...

I use Cacti 0.8.7.c installed on an Ubuntu server 8.10 (RDDtool 1.2 / net-snmp 5.X)
All traffic graphs works perfectly but the load average, memory and processes graphics are exactly the same for 4 different hosts !
These hosts are Linux based, and i tried several Linux templates (Local Linux Machine, Generic SNMP-enabled host, ucd-net SNMP-host and more...)
I saw the same problem on this forum but the post is 2004 dated and there is no answer... (http://forums.cacti.net/about4956.html)

Maybe i missed something ?
Could you please help me ?

I fear you always used the "Local Linux Machine" Host Template or the related graphs. Use ucd/net-snmp graphs instead

Thanks for your answer...

i tried several templates and of course the ucd/net-snmp one...
but the results was the same..
I use now a personalized template based on ucd/net-snmp one and the graphics works correctly now...

thank you again, you can close my topic....
See ya
