Gaps in Graphs

Post by cquevedo »

Hi Guys!
I'm a new cacti user and I'm having gaps in all of my graphs.

I'm running cacti on:
Linux Gentoo, Kernel 2.6.25-gentoo-r8
ProLiant DL380 G3, Intel(R) Xeon(TM) CPU 3.06GHz, 4 GB RAM.
Cacti version= net-analyzer/cacti, 0.8.7b-r3
Mysql version = 5.0.70-r1
SNMP Version = 5.4.2.1
PHP version = 5

my.cnf :
key_buffer = 32M
max_connections = 500
query_cache_size = 64M
max_allowed_packet = 1M

php.ini:
memory_limit = 128M

Cacti Settings:
poller type: spine
Poller Interval: 5 min
Cron Interval: 5 min
Maximum Concurrent Poller Processes: 2

Maximum Threads per Process: 12
Number of PHP Script Servers:8
Script and Script Server Timeout Value: 300
The Maximum SNMP OID's Per SNMP Get Request:10

Crontab:
*/5 * * * * php /var/www/localhost/htdocs/cacti/poller.php > /dev/null 2>&1

Some errors on my log file:

02/06/2009 10:25:02 AM - CMDPHP: Poller[0] ERROR: SQL Assoc Failed!, Error:'1146', SQL:"SELECT name, file, function FROM plugin_hooks WHERE status = 1 AND hook = 'config_arrays'"

I don't know hw can I fix the issue, any ideas?

Thank you

This is a knwn problem with plugin arch code. IMHO, you can ignore it. Else, please post to http://cactiusers.org

Gaps in graphs can also be cause by timining issues, common with some kernels when the gust o/s is virtualised.
