php executable on Solaris?
Sorry if this is a dumb question, but I am confused by the cron entry suggested in the install doc. I'm running Solaris 8, apache 1.3.19 w/ a statically-compiled php 4.1.2. Other php apps run OK. I know that under Solaris, cron is a little different than it is under Linux. It seems like the example crontab entry expects there to be a php executable somewhere to run a php script outside the context of the web server. Is this right? If so, how do I get the php compilation to produce such a thing? Thanks.
php executable
OK, the answer was already here ... under the post titled "PHP Binary Path under linux?" Compile php w/o the "--with-apache" or "--with-apxs" options. Did it, and it works.
