I wrote the following script to track the tcp connection state on various devices. We have used it during load tests initially, then decided to leave it in cron on a permanent basis for historical trending. The format is slightly off from what cacti needs, but that is easily modified. usage statements in-line. Let me know if you have comments or suggestions. The profiles within are meant to be modified to fit your environment, but can be left in for examples of all the options...etc
