Cacti SNMP don't work

Hi,
I'have installed a cacti 0.8.7b on a debian lenny.
the snmp via cli work fine (snmpwalk), the snmp query via php work fine (i'have create a simple script with snmpwalk); but when i add new device cacti can connect to device.

this is the log:

SPINE: Poller[0] Host[2] SNMP Result: Host did not respond to SNMP

i've the same result with cmd.php

Any idea ?

Please use the cmd.php as a poller and run poller.php against the failing host only. But switch to DEBUG mode before doing so. Post results, please
