User Groups within Cacti

We need the notion of user groups and were about to implement the feature until we realised it was actually on the roadmap.

Is there currently a alpha/beta patch/release to add group functionality?

If not, any indication of when this may be available? Early 2009 is a little too vague for our managers!

Unfortunately, I'm going to be more vague.

Groups are coming, I just have to implement the discussed design from our meetings at Linux World.

Due to resent activities in the developers personal lives (IE, I got a new job), the projected release of 0.8.8 is going to be more towards mid next year.

I have more 100+ user in cacti, it's so hard to manage all right without group.
I do many error, and I lost time to do same thing every time I create a new user (I have 11 plugins) or change a option.

Do you have news about groups creaton into cacti for users ?

It's under development at this time. Soon to be released. From a Realm perspective, it's working already, but Graph Permissions are still under development:
