Adding new graph templates to existing device

I recently imported new graph templates which i now want to use to create new graphs for an existing device. My problem is that these new templates are not available when I click on the device and select "Create graphs for this host".

What do I have to do to add the newly imported graph templates to my existing devices?

Are we talking about a "simple" Graph Template or a Data Query?
