Keep last value on unknown value

Hi there.

I'm monitoring the toner level of a printer using Cacti. The printer is turned off over night and weekends. How can I configure the graph such that the last value will be recorded if the printer is turned off? ATM I get graphs with many holes which makes them pretty unreadable.
