graphing SNMP data returned as "octet string"

Post by dukpeters »

Hi,

I would like to graph SNMP values that are not returned as "interger32" or "integer64", but as "octet string".
While the rrd is created, it just fills with "nan".
Is there a way to convert the value into a RRD-usable format within Cacti?

I am running 0.8.7a on an opensuse 10 platform.

thanks

Hmm. My first idea is to use a script wrapper. Not sure if Larry added Octet support to spine latetly. Please feel free to see spine Changelog from ViewSVN
