After a little research on the forums, I've come across several mentions of the "RRA ID 1 Bug", and I'm pretty sure that this is my problem. However, the conventional solution to the problem isn't as straightforward. Here's one of the responses:
This solution works fine if all you want to do is change the default view into something that's not the "Day View" for all graphs. But what I want to do is have DIFFERENT views for the same data in the same graph tree. The last post I saw on this subject was 2006, so I'm probably looking in the wrong place for the current answer. Has this problem been solved in a different way, or is this still considered a bug?
By the way, thanks for Cacti. It's opened up a lot of possibilities for data monitoring at my current place of employment, and has given management new fresh things to argue about.
