Unknown Status for 2 hosts out of 6

Hi all,
Yesterday I was able to add 4 hosts and graphs were generated fine. Now today when I add a host with snmp enabled and other with no snmp it is showing status as unknown on both. Any problems. please post ur experience :oops:

What might be the problem with the devices showing unknown today ??????

Did you add any graph to both the new hosts? Without graphs, status will remain "unknown" 'til eternity

Yes, even after adding graphs still status unknown. Thursday I was able to add 4 hosts and friday only this issue came, any configuration problems, pl check my log files posted earlier

Host[5] is one of the failing? The error describes, that you are polling for a OID that does not exist on that target. Please see 2nd link of my sig for more debugging help

I am sorry Reinhard. Which Link are you refering. Can you post the link here directly. If this is any problem with file corruption will reinstall helps..

Will Cacti works without SNMP. In one of my host I didn't specified snmp details and it is showing snmp not in use.

It will work with scripts only. Select an appropriate downed host detection, then; e.g. "None"
