Hi,
My system specs:
OS: RedHat EL 5.0
Cacti Version 0.8.7b
RRDtool 1.2.28
perl, v5.8.8
PHP 5.1.6
Apache 2.2.3
MYSQL: 5.0.45
Cacti was a fresh install, and it worked until I downloaded and installed monitor plugin. I first installed cacti-plugin-0.8.7b-PA-v2.1
I installed PA without any modification to Cacti, so it installed without any issues. I then installed monitor plugin, which also seem to be installed.
But, when I go into Devices, and make any changes to existing device or try to add a new device, I get "Error: Save Failed." at the top of my screen.
If I comment out monitor tool in include/global.php, eveything works again (I do not get "Error: Save Failed." message).
Has any one seen this before?
Please advice...
Thanks

Did you read the installation instructions? There is a table modification required to make Monitor work and I am uncertain if that table modification was made. If not, you could receive these errors when saving a host.

ps. I don't use or support Monitor. Hopefully you can get answers elsewhere.

For those wondering, I'm still here, but lost in the shadows. Yearning for less bugs. Who want's a Cacti 1.3/2.0? Streams anyone?

I did that, but no avail. I ended up scratching the whole install dropping the cacti database. I re-downloaded Cacti and plugins, and now it seems to be working.TheWitness wrote:Did you read the installation instructions? Very strange!
Thanks for your suggestion...
