Disappear rrd files

Could anybody help me? When cacti works during a month, they disappear all rrd files without doing anything.

My Cacti works in W2K3 Server with Appserv 2.5.10, net-snmp 5.4.1.3 and Perl 5; it has several plugins as discovery, weathermap, threshold, etc.

File system issues? run a chkdsk /f

Use the rrdool cleansing plugin?

There is no reason why Cacti itself (natively) could delete rrd files.
