custom user interface

hi

we've set up cacti (thanks for the great piece of software! it saved us much time) and it works fine so far.
but we want to have a custom page after login for our users to show them some information gathered by MRTS which is invididual for every user. the rest of the graph view section remains the same but we also need a link to this custom (start) page.
we've looked a bit at the source code, but since we are no php experts we've actually no clue where to start.
does anyone have an idea or solution for this?
