Does this exist? Data table by device/template...

Post by Howie »

I am looking for a plugin that can show me the last polled value (or the last rate if it's a counter) - the contents of 'current' for all data sources of a particular type and/or attached to a particular host. e.g. all interface bandwidth on router X.

Does such a plugin already exist? I don't think ReportIt will do this... I think I know how to write one, but there's no point if it already exists :-) I'm not sure how well my method would scale, either - use the poller_output function from thold, and store all those calculated values in another table, so they could be presented quickly.

I had a problem during the week where an uplink was very busy (seen on our weathermap), but none of the 'usual suspects' (on the map) were busy. I had to go through all the switch ports on the chassis switch (a few hundred) to find where my spike was coming from. A quick summary page of all interfaces, or all errors, etc would be very handy.
Weathermap 0.98a is out! & QuickTree 1.0. Superlinks is over there now (and built-in to Cacti 1.x).
Some Other Cacti tweaks, including strip-graphs, icons and snmp/netflow stuff.
(Let me know if you have UK DevOps or Network Ops opportunities, too!)

I do not know such a solution currently.
