Hello all,
I've experienced a few problems accessing weathermap through Opera browser.
The overlibgraph popups doesn't appear when I move the mouse over a link.
Even clicking over the link there is no effect, it doesn't appear any graph.
With IE or Firefox I don't have this problem.
Is it a Opera javascript bug?

As far as I'm aware, you're the first Opera user to try it
It works for me in IE 6 & 7, Firefox 2 & 3, Safari 1,2&3 and Google Chrome, so my first guess would be Yes. It's possible that it's not of course.
I'll download Opera and see.

Weathermap 0.98a is out! & QuickTree 1.0. Superlinks is over there now (and built-in to Cacti 1.x).
Some Other Cacti tweaks, including strip-graphs, icons and snmp/netflow stuff.
(Let me know if you have UK DevOps or Network Ops opportunities, too!)

Yes, probably I'm the first to use it.
I've chosen Opera because is the only browser that is possible to mantain a full screen map in weathermap with scroll bar fixed in the middle even at the refresh time (each 5 min).
My map is too big so that I have to scroll the screen down.
By the time there is a refresh, using IE or Firefox, the scroll bar go back to initial position showing cacti menu but chopping the map.

I just tried with Opera 9.5, and overlib works for me there too... that was with Cacti 0.8.7b, and Weathermap 0.96test1, but there haven't been any changes in the overlib code that I can think of since 0.95b.
Clicking on links doesn't use javascript.
Ooooh. Wait a moment...
is to do with opera.
If you don't mind using the test version, your problem is fixed in 0.96test1. I would probably wait for test2 in the next week, which fixes some editor problems that test1 has.
Alternatively, you should be able to just download the HTML_ImageMap.class.php file from svn, to get this fix.

Code: Select all
FIXED - No more floating-point imagemap coords (Thanks Trond Aspelund)

Huummm, it makes sense for sure.
Anyway, I'll wait for the test2.
And, thanks for your answer.
By the way, that's a fast support, better than a lot of proprietary product support.
Weathermap is a great solution, congratulations!!
