Interface Traffic

Post by stack »

Hello,
I am using latest version of cacti on CentOS 5. The servers monitored by Cacti are on gigabit connection. The problem is that on the graphs using Interface - Traffic (bits/sec, Total Bandwidth) template over snmpv1 it shows only 100 MB limit. I have configured a test server with snmpv3 to see if the graph will show limits up to 1000 MB. If i use template in/out - bits per second (64 bit counters) it shows correctly but with the same config using template Interface - Traffic (bits/sec, Total Bandwidth) it shows 100 MB.

Any help is greatly appreciated.
Thank you.

Graphing values above 114 Mbps using a 300 sec interval requires the use of 64 bit COUNTERs. They are part of MIB-II that requires at least SNMP version 2c to be used. But implementation of 64 bit counters is optional.
