Hi there. I'm trying to get bandwith monitoring up against a server I have running snmpd. If I don't use the Turn Bytes into Bits CDEF on any graph items, it works great.
The problem is that I infact want it to show bits instead of bytes. When I use the CDEF on the graph items, I get the nice image showing that the images are broken when trying to view the graph.
I followed the exact same method as "Guest" did on the post http://www.raxnet.net/board/viewtopic.php?t=60 and it still does fail somehow.
Could anyone here point out what graph items should not use this one, and wich ones should?
My graph setup for monitoring the server is as follows:
Item #1 traf_psi_in AREA 00CF00
Item #2 traf_psi_in: Current: GPRINT
Item #3 traf_psi_in: Average: GPRINT
Item #4 traf_psi_in: Maximum:<HR> GPRINT
Item #5 traf_psi_out LINE1 002A97
Item #6 traf_psi_out: Current: GPRINT
Item #7 traf_psi_out: Average: GPRINT
Item #8 traf_psi_out: Maximum: GPRINT
Cheerios, Erik.
(Yes smilies are fun.)

Um.
I just did all the steps again, and now it works. I really hope that it was me who forgot to turn on one of the options or something like that.
This is really weird.
raX, are you on IRC on some IRC-network so I can chat live with you? I have problem with using a perl-script to monitor CPU-usage on a FreeBSD that is really twiching my neck around
