There have pictures , but no characters !

After I add a device to monitor , the graphs are come out , but there just the graph whihout character to explain .

I have set the "RRDTool Default Font Path" and the cacti told me "OK: FILE FOUND" .

Then what shoule I do ?

added true fonts, all set now

I had the same problem... just fixed it by installing rrdtool-1.2.25 and setting it up manually..... download the source and run the following commands: ./configure , make , make install. Then point cacti to the appropriate locations (/usr/local/rrdtool-1.2.25/bin/rrdtool).

a new version of files are available with dist-upgrade for lenny:

rrdtool 1.3.1-3
librrd2 1.2.28-1

every is now correct.

Please make sure to set rrdtool utility version to 1.2 manually (bug fixed in cacti 087c)
