Availability Graph

Post by maratos »

Hello,

i was wondering if it's possible to get a graph out of the devices view in the console?

I need esepcially the availability in percent data, the delay times are not so important. It should be not so hard to get it, because the data are already there i just don't know enough about cacti to get it extracted.

Any help is greatly appreciated. :-)

Thanks!

No solution to this. And I won't lay too much pressure on those "statistics". It would be possible to create a script to fetch that data; sure.

I've been looking for a similar solution, and would love to use my existing Cacti installs rather than additional software...

Is there an add-on, plugin or something that would allow for monitoring availability of devices over a sliding time window? For example, being able to report that "Server X had Y% availability for the month of January" rather than (what appears to be) a running percentage of availability over the lifetime of the device.

If something like this doesn't exist currently, I would be more than willing to have a go at making it if someone can point me in the right direction.
Likewise, if people are using different software to do availability/SLA reporting I would appreciate hearing those solutions as well :)
