does anybody has a template in order to monitor linux without using snmp???

to my knowledge, it is impossible IF you mean without the use of an agent installed into the said server.

Correct. But you are not bound to use the SNMP agent. If you prefer, the nagios nrpe may do want you want. Else, if httpd is available, a cgi script called by wget may help. Or ssh may do ...
