Problem with Mysql 5.051

Post by Lonlie »

Hello,

I had a problem with mysql which used the CPU at 100 %. I uninstalled it and reinstalled (I read the cacti manuel). Now, i would like to recover all informations about cacti (data sources ...) but i don't know how may I make it ...

When I have to enter my Cacti user name and password, above, i have this message :

Warning: reset() [function.reset]: Passed variable is not an array or object in C:\Apache2.2\htdocs\cacti\lib\functions.php on line 146

Warning: Variable passed to each() is not an array or object in C:\Apache2.2\htdocs\cacti\lib\functions.php on line 147

1) ** README BEFORE POSTING ** Sticky

2) Looks like a possible NTFS permission problem on the cacti files, re-read the installation guide.

3) did you save your mysql cacti data directory? if not, then all your data is gone and you have to start fresh. otherwise, just put it back into the mysql data folder and it should work.

Did you create and initialize your database. This problem looks mighty familiar from that perspective.

I think i found my problem. I didn't save my mysql cacti data directory.
So, I reinstalled cacti, and the error message disapearred. Then, I
added a new device, snmp ok, but i have nobody graph ... For example, when i use the graph debug mode, i have :

ERROR: opening 'C:/Apache2.2/htdocs/cacti/rra/X_cpu_system_22.rrd': No such file or directory

And, in the device menu, i have :

Description_____ID____Graphs____Data Sources___Status____Event Count
X_____________4________23__________29______Unknow________0

Hostname____Current (ms)______Average (ms)____Availability
192.168.y.y_______0______________0______________100

1) Did you wait 10 min for the graph to get created?
2) Is the device returning data during cacti polling?
3) Since its a new installation, sure you configured the NTFS security properly, user accounts, ec?
