Hello,
I'm looking for help in relation to cacti. The info is as follows:
Operating System: Windows Server 2003 running on a VM
Webserver: IIS 6.0
Cacti: 0.8.7b
Spine: 0.8.7a
MySQL: 5.0.51a
PHP: 5.2.5
RRDTool: 1.2.26
Net-SNMP: 5.4.1.3
Cygwin: 1.5.25-7
MySQL Administrator 1.1.19
I have set up the device settings etc. and have the graphs running. I have one graph working (Combined Protocol Traffic) but none others (Memory, CPU, Users, etc.). They are showing either -1 or -1.#J as the data for all fields.
I am monitoring a physical proxy that is running on a customised version of linux. The manafacturers told us that it uses linux OIDs etc. and that running Cacti wouldn't be a problem.
I tried out MRTG before as well and no luck.
If need be, I can attach some screenshots.
Something that jumped out to me was, in cacti.log, on every run it would have "WARNING: Result from CMD not valid."
Thanks in advance guys.

Re: Blank Graphs
This against a windows or linux host? If windows, the net-snmp templates won't work.Stueh wrote:HI have one graph working (Combined Protocol Traffic) but none others (Memory, CPU, Users, etc.). They are showing either -1 or -1.#J as the data for all fields.
you verified snmp is working properly by snmpwalk'ing the 'linux oids' ?Stueh wrote:I am monitoring a physical proxy that is running on a customised version of linux. The manafacturers told us that it uses linux OIDs etc. and that running Cacti wouldn't be a problem.
