ucd 10 fs not working on some clients

Post by sjordan »

I have around 50 CentOS and Redhat 3/4 machines running.

A few machines are not reporting anything back when running the "ucd 10 fs" Verbose Query. Here is a example of what happens on one of our CentOS release 4.4 (Final) machines:

Code: Select all

+ Running data query [8].
+ Found type = '6 '[script query].
+ Found data query XML file at '/var/www/html/resource/script_server/host_disk.xml'
+ XML file parsed ok.
+ Executing script for list of indexes '/usr/bin/php -q /var/www/html/scripts/ss_host_disk.php machine1.mydomain.com 1:161:500:public$:::MD5::DES: 43 index'
+ Executing script query '/usr/bin/php -q /var/www/html/scripts/ss_host_disk.php machine1.mydomain.com 1:161:500:public$:::MD5::DES: 43 query index'
+ Executing script query '/usr/bin/php -q /var/www/html/scripts/ss_host_disk.php machine1.mydomain.com 1:161:500:public$:::MD5::DES: 43 query description'
+ Executing script query '/usr/bin/php -q /var/www/html/scripts/ss_host_disk.php machine1.mydomain.com 1:161:500:public$:::MD5::DES: 43 query sau'
+ Executing script query '/usr/bin/php -q /var/www/html/scripts/ss_host_disk.php machine1.mydomain.com 1:161:500:public$:::MD5::DES: 43 query total'
+ Found data query XML file at '/var/www/html/resource/script_server/host_disk.xml'
+ Found data query XML file at '/var/www/html/resource/script_server/host_disk.xml'
+ Found data query XML file at '/var/www/html/resource/script_server/host_disk.xml'
Any idea what causes this to return nothing. 95% of my other machines it works fine.

I figured it out. SNMP in linux does not like $ as the community name for some queries. I changed it to something without a $ and it worked
