In/Out Bytes (64-bit Counters) no graph title field

Post by psyclone »

When creating device graphs using In/Out Bytes (64-bit counters), there is no Title field under Supplemental Graph Template Data / Graph Fields.
Other graph templates such as In/Out bits with Total Bandwidth do show this field - I use this field to label graphs so I know what's using that port. I need to have this field under the 64-bit template(s) as well for graphing gigabit devices.

How can I add this graph title field to the In/Out bits (64-bit Counters) template (see attachment)?
Thanks in advance.

The recommended way to generate graph titles is to use the "Suggested Names" Section of a Data Query/Graph Template.
But for freetext titles, this will not match.
In this case, please visit the Graph Template and check the checkbox next to the title. Now you should be able to visit Graph Management so change any graph title of graphs associated to that very graph template you've changed

Thanks for the reply, I was able to resolve the problem based on your suggestion.

There is no separate template for 64-bit counter graphing - it uses the Interface - Traffic (bits/sec) template. Once I went in there and checked the Title box, the field appeared.
