automatically create directory for RRDs

For each host I store the RRDs in a directory named after the host so I can call the files easier using outside scripts (more organized).

I modified the cacti source in lib/functions.php to automatically append the directory to the rra/rrd path when creating a data source. Right now what I do is I go in and create the directory by hand but it'd be nice if I could get cacti to create the directory for me. Not knowing PHP I was wondering if anyone could pass along some info that would help me track down what I could put in the source so that cacti would automatically create the directory tree specified in the path for the RRD before creating the RRD file itself?

Ther has been an unofficial patch by browniebraun for that goal.
It is planned to implement a similar feature for cacti in upcoming revisions.
