Were you using automation tools? Could this be a PHP issue, there have been issues reported with recent "patches".

ikramahamed please post on that bug that you are suffering a similar issue and your stats, the more people that post on this the sooner it will get attention.

Thanks!

Did any of you use the automation tools to add graphs? Oh, and how did you install Cacti?

Hi *,

sorry for the late reply...

Did any of you use the automation tools to add graphs
no. I don't have any tool to do this.. i add devices from DEVICE TAB..

Oh, and how did you install Cacti
Default installation… from the .tar file

I also tried to export the DB and .log .script .rra files to another similer box with cacti 0.8.7b... its still the same...

i need a urgent solution for this... cuz i depend on cacti a lot...

Ya, I installed cacti through the Ubuntu package, then upgraded the installation to 0.8.7.

My employer is also riding me for a solution to this :(

I posted a sqldump of my database on that bug if you want to take a look TheWitness.

Thanks in advance, you're always a big help.

I have been out for a while. I don't know what the device tab is. Also, looking at the dump here in a minute.

Was the sql dump e-mailed. I will need a PM instead of e-mail as I am frequently away from my home computer.

There is a way to isolate the problem. If you bring up the tree page, post the page HTML source to my PM. That way I can tell you what to delete to eliminate the problem at least.
