generate an alarm when cacti is getting no values from host

We have thold plug-in installed, for the most part it works well. However, when I try to set up low threshold on a data source and when polled, if the device is not returning any values, cacti will generate falls alarm. Cacti will asume that the value is 0 and will be below the low threshold value. Is there way to dont send any alarms if the value is nan or 0.
