RRDTools problem

Post by multinet »

Help!

I've installled Cacti for Wamp server on Win Xp. with rrdtool. I get a lot of information on SNMP from the network equipments (as I can see it in debug mode) but after the running of rrdtool the graphs are totally empty!
And near the empty graph is written the following text in graph debug mode:

RRDTool Command:

C:\wamp\www\cacti\rrdtool.exe graph - \
--imgformat=PNG \
--start=-86400 \
--end=-300 \
--title="Kisar CMATS forgalmak" \
--base=1000 \
--height=120 \
--width=500 \
--alt-autoscale-max \
--vertical-label="0" \
DEF:a="C\:/wamp/www/cacti/rra/kisar_cmts_snmp_oid_8.rrd":snmp_oid:AVERAGE \
AREA:a#F5F800:"text" \
GPRINT:a:LAST:"Current\:%8.2lf %s" \
GPRINT:a:AVERAGE:"Average\:%8.2lf %s" \
GPRINT:a:MAX:"Maximum\:%8.2lf %s\n"

RRDTool Says:

OK

Why??!!!

Did you specify a valid username/password for the cacti scheduled task?

Maybe the poller is not working fine.
Thanks for your Help

What is the valid account?
But I'v forced the poller from the command line and took place this in scheduled tasks within that uid and pwd with wich I was logged in.( it had got admin permission). And if the poller does'not work well why it isn't sending any error messages ,for example, in the log files.
And as i mentioned the Cacti works well because I get SNMP data and only the graphs are empty. Is the cygwin really optional or is there any environmental variables or dll wich are need to display graphs???

read http://forums.cacti.net/viewtopic.php?t=11747 entirely and repost.

cygwin files are only required for rrdtool that was compiled against it AND below 1.2.15. I suggest you upgrade to rrdtool 1.2.27.
