Alerthing-Thold No Work

Hi everybody,

I try now since yesterday that thold alerting by mail, but nothing.
I think to have configurate the Mail/DNS tab correctly, but when i click on "send a test email", it work fine.
I show you severals screens, maybe you find a bad thing.

If you click on one of the alerts shown in the first screen shot, it should show the graph at the top with a bunch of options below. In the very bottom section, there is a field that says Notify accounts. That should have a person's name in it, like:

Joe Smith - Email

Does it?

It can work both ways but you can also add email to your user management portion and they will show up in that page of the thold.

Than when the names show up you can highlight them it works very nice.

yes it is done, but I do not receive the email by thold.
Maybe i must restart anything?

I think I figured it out...you have the re-alert cycle as 0. I bet if you put it at 1 alerting will start working.

I have put the re-alert as 1.
But between "Notify accounts" and "Extra Alert Emails" you know if work well if they have adress emails on those?

I've had the same problem, and it seems it had something to do with the "extra alert email" textbox(it's using the CC field incorrectly or something like that).
As soon as I cleared it(using the "notify accounts" only), it started working again(as with older versions of thold).

Ok, so if I am your reasoning I should not enable the option "Send alerts as text" and I must use that "notify accounts."
Is it that?

The only thing you should do is clear the email-address from "extra alert email", and just use "Notify accounts"(see you own thold.jpg screenshot).

Sending email as text or HTML should not make any difference.

ok, now i use only the "notify account", but don't work again. But in the Alerting/thold tab in Setting, i use the "Dead Hosts Notifications", and i have put in "Dead Host Notifications Email" and "From Email Address" (in Emailing Options) the same email adress, you think that create a incompatibility ?
