It's now 1:11pm, and the last poll on my machine was at 10:42:28. There's nothing in the syslog or error log to indicate a Thold polling problem. Any ideas?

Solved. It's a quirk in thold that will only update the last poll time in the thresholds view under the management section on the left panel menu after selecting the thold tab. that time displays properly all the time, and sort of "forces" the Thresholds menu item to update the last poll time.
