Graph viewing permissions

Post by WebSpider »

Hi!

First of all, thanks for the Cacti package. Once it all works, it will make my life a whole lot simpler 8)

I have installed Cacti 0.8.3a on a FreeBSD-4.8 box, with PHP + SNMP support and am using net-snmp.

All data collection goes well, but for all the users I create within the cacti system, there is a problem which both the 'admin' and 'guest' user does not have:

All the graphs show up as broken links, no data is displayed.

When I login as admin, or use no login at all (guest) the graphs are shown just fine, which really puzzles me.

It needed, I am more than happy to debug the issue further, but as said, I'm just beginning with cacti, so I need a few hints&tips ;)

Thx in advance!

By default, new users in Cacti are created with the graph deny policy. This means that they will be denied from all graphs except the ones you specify. You can change this policy by going to User Management, selecting the user, and clicking on the "Graph Permissions" tab.
