Is there any reason you would not want to upgrade ?

Did you build alot of scripts for your current version of Cacti.

If you don't currently have your PIA installed might be better if you have not modifyed your current version of cacti to uprgade to 0.8.7a. than install the PIA.

Eh... with all the issues that I've seen on the forums with people going from 0.8.6k to 0.8.7x, I'm a little hesitant to do it on my production box, that's all.

Hmm Well I did not have to many problems with 0.8.7a yet I wait for 0.8.7c but Ill stick with a for now.

If you start using the PIA now it will add more work to your upgrade later. And note some plugins now released only work with 0.8.7x releases.

Hi

0.8.6k Changelog only mentions this :
security: Fix several security vulnerabilities
So you can either stick to 0.8.6j + patches, or install PIA 1.1 for 0.8.6j (you might have to edit some file manually).
