PicLens (Cooliris) support for Cacti

Post by shanali »

hi,

by any chance any one working on it?

http://www.cooliris.com/

according to their FAQs it seems getting Cacti to talk to PicLens shouldn't be difficult.

Kinda cool technology, but I don't forsee it getting added. It doesn't run on linux, requires users to install extra software to make it 'work', etc.

Wow that is cool.

This could be a great addon if it worked for Cacti. Imagine being able to click on your graphs in preview mode and then view them as a slideshow.

All it requires is an RSS-feed, which ought to be simple to implement. I am not sure why their plugin cannot simply find the images embedded and/or linked in the current page. Perhaps that will be possible in a future release.
