Time period

Post by philou »

Hi,

Is it possible to define a specific time period for one or more host(s) under Cacti ?

In fact, I would use a time period (business hours) for particular graphs like the load of my leased lines, internet traffic..., but not for all graphs.

The best should be (as Nagios) the possibility to define a specific timeperiod for a host or a graph.

Thanks for your response,

Philou.

This is not possible ATM. There's a per-user shift setting, but this applies to all graphs.
But there's a PRESET for the graph display. You may change the timespan with only two clicks

In fact, preset not work for what i want.

For an example, I want to diplay the graph of the internet load on business hours without the night hours. The goal is to have an average value of the load for a month or a week (Internet traffic is null during night and decrease the average value).

YOu may want to consider using REPORTIT for this task. Cacti will not support this in upcoming releases as far as plans have been fixed
