Help cisco router
Hi to all.I'm new to cacti but I got it up and running fine.
I have only one problem with cisco routers. To be precise I have a problem with memory graghs. The work ok but but the output I have is strange.I have a router with 32M of memory but the graph says I only have 6M.I get an output showing a total of 6M and about 4-5 used and 1-2 M free.
I used the xml that I found on this forum:
http://forums.cacti.net/about3873.html
something isn't right.I have also tried a second router 3800 but same problem. This time I only see a scale of 1....
Any suggestions?
Tks

When you manually snmpwalk the OID(s) for memory, what do they return?

I got this output using a cisco OID but is it the same one I'm using with cacti.......so confusing

The issue here is, that cacti will poll any OID you are requesting. If this OID is of any relevance is left to you. Cacti will not know, that's a memory related OID. So please verify, that those OIDs are responsible for exactly that memory value you are interested in. This "may" be device and surely is vendor specific
