poller plugin - help

i configured the polling performance settings under the Misc tab, enabled automatic log verbosity - that seemed to work fine but when i click on Utilities/poller performance no hosts are listed. Do I have to manually add hosts or something?

Depending on the time settings, you'll have to wait 'til cacti at least once passed this timeframe

Right, I have done that - Ive grepped for POLLPERF ( as shown below), looks like it ran but nothing shows up under Utilities/Poller Perf

$ grep POLLPERF cacti.log
01/25/2008 08:24:53 AM - POLLPERF: Poller[0] PollPerf cycles: 2
01/25/2008 08:30:04 AM - POLLPERF: Poller[0] PollPerf cycles: 1
01/25/2008 08:30:07 AM - POLLPERF: Poller[0] PollPerf ENDING, reset verbosity to: 1
01/25/2008 08:34:04 AM - POLLPERF: Poller[0] PollPerf cycles: 0

That's weird. Does the web server's user has at least read access to cacti.log?
