[SOLVED] Graphing Multiple remote Syslog variables via inetd

I am new to cacti and have snmp polls working with no problem. Can anyone give me the steps to graph multiple variables from a remote syslog that is serving out via inetd?

example:
Basically I have a syslog server, which is putting out port25 blocks on port 7002, using nc x.x.x.x 7002 it returns 67

I have experimented creating data sources, queries, templates but no such luck.
