Post by abakomano »

Is it possible to put router uptime using simple e.g |query_sysUptime| or what ever syntak to get snmp system uptime. Where is this info stored in the cacti database cannot find it. If i can get this info now my cacti is almost perfect. TQVM

I'm also looking for this, if anyone has any ideas that would be great. I tried to graph 1.3.6.1.2.1.1.3 but that just gives me 0.00.

There are at least 2, maybe three different UpTime scripts in the Script and Template forum. I use two of them, one for snmpd uptime (called SysUpTime but reports uptime of snmpd) and another one (I suppose it's from the Host MIB and reports true system uptime)
Please google for "+uptime site:forums.cacti.net" ore use phpBB search function to only select scripts and templates forum

Gandalf/Reinhard...

I know you've answered this already but...

Can you point me at the
another one (I suppose it's from the Host MIB and reports true system uptime)
I KNOW I've seen and used it in the past, but now cannot find it anywhere!! (also does it work with .8.7b)...

(all I want to do is graph uptime for all SNMP enabled devices - whether Windows or Linux or other... then I can use THOLD to let me know more).

Cheers
