"Get SNMP Date" need advice

Post by testing »

try to get date with the function "Get SNMP Date" without succes.
At the beginning there was the problem with the dot at the beginning of the MIB OID. For example the OID .1.3.6.1.4.1.18.3.4.4.1.55.2.1
get answers from the router with the snmpget function.
root@budlin rra]# snmpget wfavi_2 public .1.3.6.1.4.1.18.3.4.4.1.55.2.1
enterprises.18.3.4.4.1.55.2.1 = Counter32: 152924198
but if i put the OID in the "Get SNMP Data" cacti function the rrd file has only NaN values.
Does any budy have a idea how to solve the problem
thanks in advance

I assume that was a typo and you really meant "Get SNMP Data". Anyhow, if you are getting NaN values on the graph, check the log and see what data cacti is feeding to rrdtool via the 'update' function. If that looks ok, I usually try executing the full 'update' command as the user 'cmd.php' runs as in cron. This will tell you whether the problem lies in the data gathering or the data source/graph itself.
