[just a note] cactid vs. cmd.php (graph creation)

Post by massimo »

Hello,
for the last three hours I was having the pleasure to find out why some rrd files were not created or at least to discover how they would be created finally. I use cactid as a poller and some rrd files are simply not created... switching to cmd.php finally created them and going back to cactid updates all graphs now just fine. (0.8.6j)

I used this template [1]. I added this template with the help of the add_graph script to all devices which worked fine but one of the needed source rrds - cisco free memory (proc) - was not created until I switched the poller.
