Empty RRD files

Post by GrandPA »

Hi
I've set up a Cacti-installtion to poll data from a dhcp-server and almost evrything seams to work ok. There's this little problem that the values in th rrd-files are all 0.

The polling works alrigt and if I do a: tail -f /www/htdocs/cacti/log/cacti.log | grep CACTI2RRD

I get:
12/11/2007 12:05:17 AM - POLLER: Poller[0] CACTI2RRD: /usr/local/rrdtool/bin/rrdtool update /www/htdocs/cacti/rra/dhcp-server_poolsize_30.rrd --template PoolAvailable:PoolSize:PoolExpire:PoolActive 1197327902:8179:8179:8179:8179
12/11/2007 12:05:17 AM - POLLER: Poller[0] CACTI2RRD: /usr/local/rrdtool/bin/rrdtool update /www/htdocs/cacti/rra/dhcp-server_poolsize_31.rrd --template PoolActive:PoolSize:PoolExpire:PoolAvailable 1197327902:61:61:61:61
12/11/2007 12:05:17 AM - POLLER: Poller[0] CACTI2RRD: /usr/local/rrdtool/bin/rrdtool update /www/htdocs/cacti/rra/dhcp-server_poolsize_32.rrd --template PoolAvailable:PoolSize:PoolExpire:PoolActive 1197327902:61:61:61:61
12/11/2007 12:05:17 AM - POLLER: Poller[0] CACTI2RRD: /usr/local/rrdtool/bin/rrdtool update /www/htdocs/cacti/rra/dhcp-server_poolsize_33.rrd --template PoolActive:PoolSize:PoolExpire:PoolAvailable 1197327902:61:61:61:61
12/11/2007 12:05:17 AM - POLLER: Poller[0] CACTI2RRD: /usr/local/rrdtool/bin/rrdtool update /www/htdocs/cacti/rra/dhcp-server_poolsize_37.rrd --template PoolActive:PoolSize:PoolExpire:PoolAvailable 1197327902:61:61:61:61
12/11/2007 12:05:17 AM - POLLER: Poller[0] CACTI2RRD: /usr/local/rrdtool/bin/rrdtool update /www/htdocs/cacti/rra/dhcp-server_poolsize_40.rrd --template PoolSize:PoolExpire:PoolActive:PoolAvailable 1197327902:1021:1021:1021:1021
12/11/2007 12:05:17 AM - POLLER: Poller[0] CACTI2RRD: /usr/local/rrdtool/bin/rrdtool update /www/htdocs/cacti/rra/dhcp-server_poolsize_43.rrd --template PoolAvailable:PoolActive:PoolExpire:PoolSize 1197327902:1021:1021:1021:1021

I can se that Cacti tries to store the values into the rrd-files. If I then do a: /usr/local/rrdtool/bin/rrdtool fetch dhcp-server_poolsize_31.rrd AVERAGE

I get:

PoolSize PoolExpire PoolActive PoolAvailable

All values are zero. Can anyone please tell me why?
