DOCSIS CMTS template

I'm trying to get cacti to monitor the upstream SNR recorded at the CMTS. The OID for this parameter is:

1.3.6.1.2.1.10.127.1.1.4.1.5

Walking this OID will return the SNR for each upstream channel on the unit, but appending an index to the end does not return the SNR for a specific channel.

Since there is no way to index the individual values, I can't get cacti to pull in these values. I thought about using php to do it, but am not sure how to go about it.

What CMTS do you have? I have some templates that could help!

They are C9Networks C1000 and C1500 series

that's alright, thanks for the offer. I'd still be interested in seeing your templates. Since the MIB tables are standard, I could still probably use them as a guide to get something up and running.

Attach is the export template for Cisco CMTS. Let me know if it does drop the snmp query file in the /resources/snmpqueries.

See if you can edit it.
