I would like to use Cacti

hi,

I would like to use cacti to see the graphs for my IP connection and also the SNMP traps generated by my equipments.

Unfourtunately for me, I am not familiar with Linux and all my computers I have are Win XP.

I would like to get some indications about the steps I have to follow in order to have a successful installaton of Cacti above all the modules I have to install: MySQL, PHP, Apache.

Can you show me the step by step way to do this?

Hi Florin,

I have just completed getting my cacti installation running and along with a custom perl script can monitor any SNMP-enabled device. If you and raX don't mind, I can post everything I did including my perl scripts, but I warn you it will be long!!
