Hi, All!
I have device without SNMPv2-MIB OIDs tree and support only SNMP version 1. (HUAWEI GPRS/EDGE PCU33) After adding this device to Cacti, status of device is Unknown and not changing after poller iterations. In top of device edit screen - "SNMP Error". I made SNMP DataQuery,DataTemplate,Graph Template for interface counters i nead. Verbose Query for graph on this device are OK, and show correct information in output. Index defined proper. But data not graphed.
user@host:~$ snmpgetnext -c public -v 1 10.0.0.1 .1
SNMPv2-SMI::enterprises.2011.2.8.7.1.1.0 = INTEGER: 9
Host downtime detection with PING only.
I think graphics not creating becouse device status is Unknown. Is it true ?
Any body know solution for this problem ? If possible, without script_query. Or working solution for HUAWEI PCU33,SGSN9810,GGSN9811 devices with Cacti.

Is the device pingable from your cacti box? I suggest you change the detection method to snmp.
What cacti version?

In your data query, what is the reindex method? If you have no MIB-2, then you don't have uptime, if I remember correctly.
Weathermap 0.98a is out! & QuickTree 1.0. Superlinks is over there now (and built-in to Cacti 1.x).
Some Other Cacti tweaks, including strip-graphs, icons and snmp/netflow stuff.
(Let me know if you have UK DevOps or Network Ops opportunities, too!)

Hmm, I added the feature to have a data query use differing OID's for reindex, but did not consider it would be a time/date format. I expected timetics.
So, a script query would not really help here either. I have some ideas, but no time at the moment.
