variables to use in graph title

Post by reticent »

Hi Guys,

I have a graph template which is used for displaying traffic usage for different ports on my network. I have a bunch of graphs each reporting different protocols, web, https, mail etc. Each graph just has a generic title "network usage". Is it possible to use a variable within the title of the graph template so it shows something a bit more meaningful. I have an input field name 'portnumber' on my data input script. Is it possible to have the graph template use this figure, ie "network usage on port |portnumber|" where portnumber is the figure i've provided for that particular graph ?

Cheers,

Stew

You might try adding query_portnumber, reapply suggested graph names and see if it shows up. Typically only data returned from a snmp indexed query could show titles in a graph.
