Remove a space from OID output

Post by ericmule »

I'm unable to successfully graph an output of " 5" because there is a space before the integer. Not sure why Motorola would do that in the OID but they did. What's the easiest way to get around this...will I need to write script?

Which poller did you use: cmd.php or cactid? If cactid, which version?
That's for sure, a script would be able to resolve this issue!

Both cmd.php and cactid strip beginning and ending spaces.

we're currently at version 0.8.6g. I did notice that it will graph accurately some of the time. It's almost like it doesn't know how to process the extra space sometimes.

Try the last release cactid 0.8.6j on the Announcements forum and see if the problem is resolved.
