NUT UPS Script

Post by UKS-Gavin »

My first template. This I used to monitor an APC Back UPS ES 700 .

Configure NUT on the system you have connected to your UPS (This link may help: http://www.mscs.dal.ca/~selinger/ups/backups.html )

For this to work you will need to have the NUT utility installed on your Cacti server.

Once you have NUT installed on your Cacti box put the attached nutups.sh script into your cacti/scripts directory and import the templates below. These were exported from a Cacti 0.8.6j version.

Thanks
Gavin

Are you running it on tCacti 0.86j as that's what it was exported from and is the only version I've tested it on.

Those of you who don't like NUTS, I've created a script/template which uses APC Daemon instead and its NIS. Link in signature.
