A MIB-problem?

You could try using the "Vendor snmp Object ID Match" when adding a Device Type and then enter the OID matching your model. See EXTREME-BASE-MIB for the complete list of Extreme products OID, under .1.3.6.1.4.1.1916.2.

For instance here : http://www.oidview.com/mibs/1916/EXTREME-BASE-MIB.html

Works for me with BlackDiamond and Alpine switches.

summit48

Just to try and save anyone else banging their head against this; i found that in order to get summit48's to work I had to use "Build 1" under the System Description Match..

On an unrelated note, has anyone managed to get traffic graphing by vlan working on the summit48's or 1's?

I realize the last post is fairly recent, just wondering if anyone has figured out the vlan thing?

Could someone who has it working on a breadth of different Extreme devices export "scanning functions" and/or whatever else is different for them? If so, I'll figure it out for each of the ones we have here (200s, 300s, 400s, 24, i series, BD6808) and provide them to the forum.
